SGSC Joins Taiwan Pavilion at MFA 2026, Advancing Smart Healthcare in Southeast Asia
At Medical Fair Asia 2026 in Singapore, leading Taiwanese research and industry organizations—including the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), the Taiwan Medical and Biotech Industry Association (TMBIA), and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA)—partnered to showcase Taiwan’s innovations in biotech and medical devices. Exhibiting within the Taiwan Pavilion, Smart Group Solutions Corp. (SGSC) demonstrated how Taiwan’s semiconductor and ICT strengths translate into practical smart healthcare solutions, engaging closely with global medical partners.

Addressing the specific demands of the Southeast Asian market, SGSC highlighted two core areas:
⓵ Integrated Smart Hospital Solutions
To tackle healthcare staffing shortages, SGSC presented its collaboration with Fu Jen Catholic University Hospital to build a Telemedicine Command Center. Acting as the central integration hub, SGSC connected Wistron Medical’s contactless physiological monitors and OCTOREACH‘s standardized data platform directly into the hospital’s internal IT systems. This cross-platform integration established a model for regional healthcare collaboration and serves as a proven digital transformation blueprint for hospitals across Southeast Asia.

⓶ AI-Driven Smart Healthcare Solutions
Given Southeast Asia’s vast geography and uneven medical resource distribution, SGSC showcased highly mobile solutions that drew strong interest from local hospitals and distributors:
- AI-Assisted Chest X-ray Screening System: Pairing lightweight wireless digital flat-panel detectors with an AI screening system, this solution overcomes traditional clinical limitations. It is currently deployed for tuberculosis (TB) screening in Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia, enabling efficient triage in environments with limited physician availability.
- FSOR Digital Operating Room: Designed for flexible deployment, this system seamlessly integrates dynamic and static image recording with DICOM streaming to streamline surgical workflows. Its high-quality, real-time image transmission can also facilitate remote consultations across hospitals and support medical education.
